Jeffrey Smart Unpublished Paintings 1940-2007
Jeffrey Smart’s lucid and impassive paintings of cities and roads
convey a vivid sense of human experience in a modern urban setting.
This volume presents over one hundred works that have not been
published in previous monographs, while Christopher Allen’s
introductory essay offers a thematic and formal interpretation of the
work of this great Australian artist.
